REVELATION
HOW THE WORLD WILL END.

"How the World Will End" is based on the Nestle
Greek text and N.I.V. translation of the Book of
Revelation written about 100 A.D. or 25
lifetimes ago. Our comments are in brackets.

A revelation of Jesus Christ of things about to
happen
  -which God gave Him
    -to show to His servants,
      -through His angel to John.
-Who told what he saw of God's word
-and the witness of Jesus Christ.
            -Blessed (complete in themselves)
              are the
              -readers,
                -hearers and
                  -keepers of what's written in
                    it,
                  -for the time is near.
-John to the seven churches in (the province
    of) Asia, (modern Western Turkey),
-grace to you and peace from the One who
      -is,
        -was,
          -is coming
-and the seven spirits before His
              throne.
      -And from Jesus Christ,
        -the faithful witness,
          -firstborn of the dead
            -and ruler of earth's kings,
-to whom be glory and might forever and
      ever! Amen.
      -Who loving us,
-loosed us from our sins by His blood
          and
-made us a kingdom of priests
            -to His God and Father.
-Look He comes with the clouds.
    -Every eye will see Him.
      -And those who pierced Him
-and all the tribes of the land,
          -will wail over Him,,
-Yes, (so it shall be), Amen.
  -I'm the Alpha and Omega
    the beginning and the ending
    -says the Lord God, who
      -is,
        -was,
          -and am coming,
            -the Almighty.

  -I, John
    -your brother
-and co sharer in the affliction,
        -kingdom and endurance of Jesus,
-came to be in the island of Patmos
            -because of God's word
              -and the witness of Jesus.
-On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit
-and heard a great (loud) voice
-like a trumpet behind me saying,
-"Write in a scroll what you see
-and send it to the seven
                    churches in
                  -Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum,
                    Thyatira, Sardis,
                    Philadelphia and Laodicea."
-Turning to see the voice I saw
              seven golden lampstands
-and in their midst one like a son
                of man (Jesus)
-in a robe reaching His feet,
-with a golden sash round His
                    chest,
                -with hair white as snow,

-eyes as a flame of fire,
-feet like brass burnished in a
                  furnace,
-voice as the sound of many
                  (rushing) waters,
-in His right hand seven stars,
-out of His mouth proceeding a
                  sharp two edged sword
-and His face shining like the
                  sun in its power.
-Seeing Him, I fell at His feet as
                if dead.
-Placing His right hand on me He
                  said,
                  -"Fear not,
                    -I am the
                    -first,
                    -last, and
                    -living one.
                  -I was dead
                    -and behold, I'm alive for
                      ever and ever,
-and I've the keys of death
                    and hell.
                  -Write what you've seen,
                    -what's now,
                    -and what's to come,
                      -the mystery of the seven
                        stars you saw on my
                        right hand,
                      -and the seven golden
                        lampstands.
                    -The seven stars are the
                      messengers (angels) of the
                      seven churches.
                    -The seven lampstands are
                      the seven churches.
                                    (Chapter 1)
Write to the messenger (angel) of the church in
Ephesus,
-The one (Jesus) holding the seven messengers
    in His right hand
-and walking in the midst of the seven
      churches, says,
-I know your works, labour and endurance
        -that you
          -can't stand bad (evil) men,
          -tried those calling themselves
            apostles and found them liars,
          -have endurance,
-have borne (hardships) because of My
            name,
          -and haven't grown weary.
-But I have this against you.
        -You've lost your first love.
          -Remember how far you've fallen,
-repent and get back to doing the
              works you first did,
-if not, I'll come and remove your
                church.
-But in your favour is your hatred of the
        works of the
        -Nicolaitans, (who taught that God's
grace meant He'd turn a blind eye to
          idolatry and immorality),
          -which I also hate.
      -The one having an ear,
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
          the churches.
          -To the one overcoming,
-I'll give the right to eat of the
              Tree of Life
              -in God's Paradise.

-To the messenger of the church in Smyrna
    write:
    -The first and the last,

-who died and now lives says,
-I know your poverty and affliction
          -but you're rich.
-I know the blasphemy of those calling
          themselves Jews
-who are a synagogue of Satan.
-Don't fear what you're about to
              suffer,
-the devil's about to cast some of
                you into prison for trial
                -where you'll be afflicted for
                  ten days.
                  -Be faithful to death
-and I'll give you the crown
                    of life.
      -The one having an ear,
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
          the churches.
-The one overcoming won't be hurt by
the second death (lake of fire,
            chapter 20).

To the messenger of the church in Pergamum
write:
-The one with the sharp two edged sword says,
-I know you dwell where Satan's throne is,
      -You hold my name fast,
        -and didn't deny my faith,
-even when Antipas my faithful witness
-was killed among you, where Satan
              dwells.
-But I have against you that
-some there hold to Balaam's teaching.
-Who taught Balak to cast a stumbling
            block before Israel's sons,
-to eat food sacrificed to idols
              -and commit fornication.
-Some there hold to Nicolaitan teaching.
      -Repent,
        -otherwise I'm coming quickly
-and will fight them with the sword of
            my mouth.
      -The one having an ear,
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
          the churches.
-To the one overcoming I'll give
            -of the hidden manna and
-a white stone with a new name
              written on it,
              -which only the recipient knows.

To the messenger of the church in Thyatira
write:
-God's Son, who has eyes as a flame of fire
-and feet like burnished brass, says,
-I know your works, love, faith, ministry
        and endurance
-and that your later works exceed the
          first.
-But I have this against you,
        -that you permit Jezebel,
          -who calls herself a prophetess,
-to teach and deceive my servants,
              -to commit fornication,
                -and eat idol sacrifices.
-I gave her time to repent,
                  -but she doesn't want to
                    repent of her fornication.
-so I'm casting her into a bed
                  -and those committing adultery
                    with her,
                    -into great affliction,
                    -unless they repent of her
                      works.
                  -I'll strike her children
                    dead.
-And all the churches will know that I'm
          the one
          -searching minds and hearts
-and I'll give (repay) you according
              to your works.
-But to the rest of you in Thyatira who
          haven't received her teaching,
-who don't know the so called deep
            things of Satan,
-I'm not casting another burden on
              you,
-but hold fast to what you have
                until I come.
-To the one overcoming, keeping my works
          until the end,
-I'll give authority over the nations
-and he'll shepherd them with an
              iron staff
-as when clay pots are broken
                (Ps 2:9)
-as I received from my Father.
                  -I'll give him the Morning
                    Star.
        -The one having an ear
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
            the churches.
                                    (Chapter 2)

To the messenger of the Sardis church write:
-The one (Jesus) having the seven spirits of
    God
    -and the seven messengers.
      -I know of your works,
-you have the name (reputation) of being
          alive,
          -but you're dead.
            -Be watchful and establish what
remains which is about to die,
-for I've not found your works
                complete
                -before my God.
-Remember what you've received and heard,
        -keep that and repent.
          -If you don't watch
            -I'll come like a thief,
              -at an unexpected hour.
-But you have a few names in
                  Sardis
                  -which didn't defile their
                    garments.
-And they'll walk with me in
                      white garments
                    -because they are worthy.
-The one overcoming shall be clothed in
        white garments.
-I won't blot his name out of the Book
          of Life
-and I'll confess his name before my
            Father and His angels.
      -The one having an ear
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
          the churches.

To the messenger of the church in Philadelphia
write:
-The Holy, true one having David's key,
-which opens and no one can shut,
-and shutting and no one can open, says,
        -I know your works,
-I've given you an open door which no
            one can shut.
            -Because you've a little power,
-kept my word and didn't deny my
                name,
-I'll make those of Satan's synagogue,
-who call themselves Jews but lie,
-come and worship at your feet
              -and know I loved you.
-Because you kept the word of my
                  endurance,
-I'll keep you from the hour
                    of trial
-about to come on and try
                      the inhabited earth.
              -I'm coming quickly,
                -hold fast what you have,
-so no one can take your crown.
      -The one overcoming,
-I'll make a pillar in the shrine of my
          God.
-He'll never go out of it
-and I'll write on him my God's name
-and the name of my God's city.
                -the New Jerusalem descending
out of heaven from my God
                   -and my new name.
        -The one having an ear,
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
            the churches.

To the messenger of the church in Laodicea
write:
  -The Amen,
    -faithful and true witness,
      -the chief of God's creation,
        -says,
          -I know your works,
-which are neither hot nor cold.
-I wish they were one or the
                other.
                -But because you're lukewarm,
-I'm about to vomit you out of
                    my mouth.
-Because you say you've prospered, are
            rich and need nothing,
            -not knowing you're
              -wretched,
              -pitiable,
              -poor,
              -blind and
              -naked,
-I counsel you to buy from me
-gold refined by fire, so you may
                be rich,
-white garments, so you may be
                clothed
-and the shame of your nakedness
                  may not be seen
-and eyesalve to anoint your eyes
                so you can see.
-Those I love I rebuke and chasten,
-so be hot (enthusiastic - burning
                with zeal) and repent.
-Behold I stand at the door and
              knock.
              -If anyone hears my voice,
                -and opens the door,
                  -I'll enter to him,
-dine with him and he with
                      me.
        -The one overcoming I'll grant
-to sit with me in my throne,
-as I also overcame and sat with my
              Father in His throne.
        -The one having an ear,
-let him hear what the Spirit says to
            the churches."
                                    (Chapter 3)

Then I saw a door open in heaven
-and the first voice I heard (was) like a
    trumpet speaking with me,
    -saying "Come up here,
-I'll show you what must take place next."
-Immediately I was in the Spirit
-and before me was a throne set in
            heaven
-and sitting on it was One who

            -looked like jasper and carnelian.
-And there was a rainbow round the
                throne like an emerald.
-Round the throne I saw 24
                  thrones,
                  -on which sat 24 elders
                  -clothed in white garments
                  -with gold crowns on their
                    heads.
          -Out of the throne came
            -lightnings,
            -voices (sounds) and
            -thunders.
-Seven lamps of fire burning before the
          throne are God's seven spirits.
-Before the throne (was) a glassy sea
          like crystal.
        -In the midst of
          -and round the throne
            -were four living creatures,
              -filled with eyes before and
                behind.
-The first was like a lion,
                -the second like a calf,
-the third had the face of a man
                  and
-the fourth was like a flying
                  eagle.
            -Each having 6 wings,
-are full of eyes around and within,
-and without respite day and night
              are saying,
-"Holy, holy, holy Lord God the
                Almighty who
                -was,
                -is,
                -and is the one coming."
-And whenever the living creatures give
          -glory,

          -honour and
          -thanks,
-to the one sitting on the throne,
              -the one living for ever,
-the 24 elders will fall before
                  him,
                  -worship him,
                    -and cast their crowns
                      before the throne saying,
                    -"You're worthy our Lord and
                      God
                  -to receive
                    -glory,
                    -honour and
                    -power
                  -because you created
                    everything (the universe),
                    -being created and existing
                      by your will."
                                    (Chapter 4)

I saw on the right hand of the one sitting on
the throne,
-a scroll written on both sides
    -and sealed with seven seals.
      -I saw a strong angel
        -proclaiming in a loud voice,
-"Who's worthy to open the scroll and
            loosen its seals?"
          -And no one was able,
            -in heaven,
            -on earth or
            -under the earth,
-to open nor look at it.
-I wept much because no one was worthy to
        do this.
-Then an elder said to me,
          -"Weep not, behold,
            -the lion of Judah's tribe,
              -the root of David,
                -overcame (conquered) to open
                  the scroll
                  -and its seven seals."
-I saw in the midst of the throne,
-and of the four living creatures,
-and in the midst of the elders,
            -a lamb standing,
              -as having been slain, having
                -seven horns and
                -seven eyes,
                  -which are God's seven
                    spirits,
                  -having been sent forth into
                    all the earth.
-He came and took (the scroll) out
              of the right hand
-of the one sitting on the throne.
                -Then the four living creatures
                  -and the 24 elders
                    -fell before the lamb,
                  -each having a harp,
                    -and golden bowls
                    -full of incenses,
                    -which are saints' prayers.
-And they sang a new song
                    saying,
                    -"You're worthy to receive
                      the scroll
                    -and open its seals,
                    -because you were slain,
                    -and purchased men for God,
                    -by your blood, from every
                    -tribe,
                    -language,
                    -people and
                    -nation
-and made them a kingdom and
                    -priests to our God
                    -and they'll reign over all
                      the earth."
      -I saw and heard
        -round the throne,
          -living creatures and
            -elders,
-the sound of myriads of myriads
          -and thousands of thousands
            -of angels
-saying with a great (loud) voice,
          -"Worthy is the lamb
            -which was slain,
              -to receive
                -power,
                -riches,
                -wisdom,
                -strength,
                -honour,
                -glory and
                -blessing."
        -And every creature
          -in heaven,
          -on earth,
          -underneath the earth,
          -on the sea,
          -and everything in them
          -I heard saying,
-to the one sitting on the throne,
              -and to the lamb,
                -(be) blessing,
                -honour,
                -glory and
                -might,
                  -forever and ever.
-And the four living creatures said
            -Amen,
              -and the elders
                -fell and worshipped.
                                    (Chapter 5)

I saw, when the lamb
-opened one of the seven seals,
-and I heard one of the four living
      creatures
      -saying as with loud thunder,
        -"Come."
          -I saw a white horse,
-and one sitting on it with a bow.
              -A crown was given him
                -and he went forth overcoming
                  (conquering)
                  -and to conquer.
-When he opened the second seal,
-I heard the second living creature saying,
      -"Come."
-And another horse went out that was
          red.
-Its rider was given power to take
            peace from the earth
-and make men slay each other.
-A great sword was given him.
-When he opened the third seal,
-I heard the third living creature saying,
      -"Come."
        -I saw a black horse,
-its rider having a balance in his
            hand.
-I heard a voice in the midst of the
              four living creatures saying,
              -"A litre of wheat for a day's
                wages,
-three litres of barley for a
                  day's wages
-and don't harm the oil and
                    wine."
-When he opened the fourth seal,
-I heard the voice of the fourth living
      creature saying
      -"Come."
-I saw a pale green horse,
          -its rider named death
            -and hell followed with him.
-They were given authority of one
                quarter of the earth,
                -to kill with
                  -sword,
                  -famine,
                  -and by earth's wild beasts.
-When he opened the fifth seal,
    -I saw beneath the altar
      -the souls of those slain
        -because of God's word
          -and their witness.
-They cried with a loud voice,
              -"Holy and true master,
-how long before you judge and
                  avenge
                  -our blood
                    -on those dwelling on
                      earth?"
-Each was given a white robe
-and told to rest a little longer
-until the number of their fellow
            servants and brethren
-who were to be killed like them,
              was complete.
-When he opened the sixth seal,
    -a great earthquake occurred.
-The sun became black as sackcloth made of
        hair.
-The whole moon became as blood.
          -Heaven's stars fell to earth,
-like a fig tree casts its unripe
figs when shaken by a strong wind.
-Heaven departed as a scroll being
              rolled up,
              -and every mountain and island
were moved out of their places.
                -And earth's kings,
                  -great men,
                  -generals,
                  -rich,
                  -strong,
                  -slave and
                  -free,
-hid in caves and rocks of the
                  mountains,
-saying to the rocks of the
                    mountains,
                    -"Fall on us,
                    -and hide us
-from the face of the One
                      sitting on the throne
                    -and the lamb's wrath,"
                  -because the great day of
                    their wrath came
                    -and "Who's able to stand?"
                                    (Chapter 6)

Then I saw four angels
-standing on the four corners of the earth
    -holding its four winds,
-so the wind shouldn't blow on the
        -earth,
        -sea nor
        -any tree.
-I saw another angel coming up from the rising
    of the sun (east)
-having a seal of the living God
-and he cried with a loud voice
       -to the four angels
-who'd been given power to harm land
           and sea,
           -saying "Don't harm
             -earth,
             -sea,
             -nor trees,
-until we put a seal on the
                  foreheads
                  -of God's servants."
-I heard the number of those who were
      sealed,
-144,000 in all. 12,000 from each of
        Israel's twelve tribes,
        -namely Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher,
          Napthali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi,
          Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and
          Benjamin.
-Then I saw a great multitude
    -which no one could number,
      -out of every
        -nation,
        -tribe,
        -people and
        -language,
          -standing before the throne
            -and before the lamb,
              -clothed in white robes
                -with palms in their hands,
                  -crying with a loud voice,
                    -"Salvation to our God
                      sitting on the throne
                    -and to the lamb."
        -And all the angels
          -stood round the throne,
            -elders, and
            -four living creatures
-and fell before the throne on
                their faces
                -and worshipped God saying
                  -"Amen,
                  -blessing,
                  -glory,
                  -wisdom,
                  -thanks,
                  -honour,
                  -power and
                  -strength
-to our God for ever and
                      ever, Amen."
  -Then an elder asked me,
-"Who are these clothed with white robes and
      -where are they from?"
-I replied "My lord, you know."
          -He told me,
-"They're the ones coming out of the
              great affliction.
              -They've washed their robes white
                in the lamb's blood,
                -therefore they're before God's
                  throne
-and serve Him day and night
                    in His shrine.
-And He who sits on the throne,
-will spread His tent over them.
                -They'll not hunger
                -nor thirst any longer.
-The sun won't beat on them
                  -nor any everyday heat,
-because the lamb in the midst of
                the throne
                -will shepherd
-and lead them to springs of
                  living waters
-and God will wipe every tear out
                of their eyes."
                                    (Chapter 7)

When he'd opened the seventh seal,
-there was silence in heaven for about half an
    hour.
-I saw that the seven angels who stood
      before God
      -were given seven trumpets.
        -Another angel came and stood
          -at the altar,
            -having a golden censer.
-He was given much incense to
                offer,
                -with the saints' prayers
                  -on the golden altar
                    -before the throne.
              -And smoke of the incenses
                -went up with the prayers
                  -of the saints before God
                  -from the angel's hand.
              -The angel took the censer,
-filled it from the altar's fire
-and cast it into the earth.
                    -And there occurred
                      -thunders,
                      -sounds,
                      -lightnings and an
                      -earthquake.
-The seven angels with the seven
          trumpets
          -prepared to sound them.
          -The first trumpeted and
            -hail and
              -fire
                -mixed with blood
                  -was cast to the earth.
-And one third of the earth
                      was burnt,
                    -including one third of
                      trees and
                    -all the grass.
          -The second angel trumpeted and
            -a great mountain
              -burning with fire,
                -was cast into the sea.
-One third of the sea became
                    blood,
-one third of the living sea
                      creatures died and
-one third of the ships were
                      destroyed.
          -The third angel trumpeted and
-a great star fell out of heaven,
              -burning as a lamp.
-It fell onto one third of the
                  rivers and water springs.
                  -Its name's wormwood
-and one third of the waters
                      turned to wormwood
                    -and many men died
                    -from the bitter waters.
          -The fourth angel trumpeted and
            -one third of the sun,
-one third of the moon and
            -one third of the stars,
              -turned dark,
-one third of the day was kept
                  from shining, also
                  -one third of the night.
  -And I saw and heard
-an eagle flying in mid heaven,
      -saying with a loud voice,
-"Woe, woe, woe, to those dwelling on
          earth,
          -because of the trumpet blasts
-about to be sounded by the other
              three angels."
                                    (Chapter 8)

And the fifth angel trumpeted
-and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth.
    -It was given the key
-of the shaft of the abyss (bottomless
        pit).
        -He opened it
          -and smoke went up
            -as from a great furnace
-and the sun and the air was
                darkened
-by the smoke of the shaft.
-And out of the smoke came
                    locusts upon the earth
                    -which were given authority
                      like that of scorpions.
-They were told not to harm
                    -grass, or
                    -any green thing or tree,
                    -but only men not having
                      God's seal on their
                      foreheads.
-They were not to kill them,
                    -but to torment them for
                      five months,
                    -with the torment of a
                      scorpion's sting.
-In those days men will seek
                    death but not find it.
                    -They'll long to die but
                    -it will flee from them.
                  -The locusts:
                    -looked like war horses,
                    -had crowns that looked like
                      gold on their heads,
                    -had faces resembling human
                      ones,
                    -had hair like women's hair,
                    -had teeth like lions'
                      teeth,
                    -had breastplates like iron
                      ones,
                    -wings sounded like many
                      chariots of horses running
                      to war,
                    -had tails and stings like
                      scorpions with authority
                      to harm men with their

                      tails for five months,
                    -having as king over them,
                      the angel of the abyss
                      whose Hebrew name is
                      Abaddon and Greek name is
                      Apollyon (meaning
                      destroyer).
-The first woe's passed, two are yet
            to come.
  -And the sixth angel trumpeted
    -and I heard a voice
-out of the four horns of the golden altar
        before God
-saying to the sixth angel with the
          trumpet,
-"Loose the four angels bound at the
            great Euphrates River."
-The four angels, prepared for this
              hour, day, month and year
-were loosed to kill one third of
                men.
-I heard a number of mounted
                  soldiers (it was) 200,000,000.
-The horses and riders I saw
                    in the vision had:
                    -breastplates the colour of
                      fire, dusky red and
                      sulphur,
                    -horses' heads resembling
                      lions' heads and
                    -horses' mouths spouting
                      fire, smoke and sulphur.
                  -One third of mankind was
                    killed by the three plagues
                    from their mouths of
                    -fire,
                    -smoke and
                    -sulphur.
                  -The authority (power) of the

                    horses is in their
                    -mouth and
                    -tails, which have heads
                      like serpents to do harm.
-The rest of mankind, not killed
                by these plagues,
                -didn't repent of their hands'
                  works nor
                  -stop worshipping demons and
                  -idols of gold, silver,
                    bronze, stone and wood
                    -that can't see, hear or
                      walk.
-Nor did they repent of their
                -murders,
                -sorceries,
                -fornication or
                -thefts.
                                    (Chapter 9)

I saw another strong angel coming down out of
heaven,
  -clothed with a cloud,
    -a rainbow on his head,
      -his face as the sun,
-his feet as pillars of fire, and
-having in his hand a little opened
            scroll.
-Planting his right foot on the sea
              and
              -his left on the land,
-he cried with a loud voice like
                  a lion's roar,
-his cry uttered the voices of
                    seven thunders.
-About to write, I heard a voice
                from heaven say
                -"Seal up what the seven
                  thunders said,

                  -don't write it down."
-The angel lifted his right hand to
            heaven
-and swore by the One living for
              ever and ever
-who created heaven, earth and sea
                -and everything in them
                  -that there's no longer time
                    (for delay)
-but in the days of the seventh
                  angel's voice
                  -whenever he's about to
                    trumpet
                    -God's mystery will be
                      accomplished
                    -as He preached to His
                      servants the prophets.
-The voice from heaven spoke to me
                again,
-"Go, take the scroll opened in
                  the hand
-of the angel standing on sea
                    and land."
                    -Going toward him, I told
him to give me the little
                      scroll.
                  -He said "Take and eat,
                    -it will embitter your
                      stomach,
                    -but taste as sweet as
                      honey."
-I took the little scroll, ate
                  it and it
                  -tasted sweet as honey but
                    made my stomach bitter.
                  -And they said to me
                    -"You must prophesy before
                      many
                    -peoples, nations, languages

                      and kings."
                                    (Chapter 10)

Given a reed like a staff (measuring rod) I was
told
  -"Rise, measure God's shrine (temple),
    -the altar,
-and (count) those worshipping in it,
-but don't measure the court outside the
          temple,
-exclude it, because it's been given
            over to the Gentiles
-who'll trample over the holy city
              for forty two months.
-And I'll grant my two witnesses
                -power to prophesy for 1263
                  days,
                  -clothed in sackcloths."
                    -They are the two olive
                      trees
                    -and two lampstands
                    -standing before the Lord of
                      the earth.
-If anyone wishes to harm them
                    -fire comes from their mouth
                    -and devours their enemies.
-Thus anyone who wants to harm
                    them must die.
                -They have authority:
-to shut heaven so no rain
                    falls while they prophesy,
-over the waters to turn them
                    to blood,
                  -to strike the earth with
                    every kind of plague as
                    often as they wish.
                -When they finish their witness,
-the beast coming up out of
                    the abyss will
                    -make war with them,
                    -overcome
                    -and kill them.
-Their corpses will lie on the
                  open street
                  -of the great city Jerusalem,
                    spiritually (figuratively)
                    -called Sodom and Egypt,
                    -where their Lord was
                      crucified.
-For three and a half days men
                    from
                    -peoples, tribes, tongues
                      and nations,
                    -shall see their corpses,
-but not allow them to be
                      put in a tomb.
                  -Dwellers on earth will
                    rejoice over them,
                    -be glad and exchange
                      presents,
                    -because these two prophets
                    -had tormented them.
-After three and a half days a
                    spirit of life
                    -out of God entered them,
                    -they stood up
                    -and great fear fell on
                      those seeing them.
                  -They heard a great (loud)
                    voice out of heaven
                    -saying "Come up here."
                    -In their enemies' sight
-they went up to heaven in a
                      cloud.
                -That hour, a great earthquake
                  occurred,
-a tenth part of the city
                    fell,

                  -7,000 men were killed and
                  -the rest, terrified, gave
glory to the God of heaven.
-The second woe's past, the third's
            coming quickly.
-And the seventh angel trumpeted, and great
    (loud) voices in heaven said,
    -"The world's kingdom has become
-the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ,
-and He'll reign for ever and ever."
          -The 24 elders,
-who sit on their thrones before
              God,
              -fell on their faces and
                worshipped saying,
-"We thank you O Lord God the
                  Almighty
                  -who is and
                  -was,
                  -because you've taken your
                    great power
                    -and reigned.
      -The nations were wrathful.
        -But your wrath came
-and the time for the dead to be
            judged.
            -To reward your servants,
              -the prophets,
              -saints (believers) and
              -those fearing (respecting) your
                name,
                -both small and great.
-And to destroy those destroying the
              earth."
-Then God's shrine (temple) in heaven was
        opened,
-the Ark of His Covenant was seen within
          the temple

          -and there were
            -lightnings,
            -voices,
            -thunders,
            -an earthquake
            -and great (heavy) hail.
                                    (Chapter 11)

A great sign was seen in heaven.
-A woman clothed with the sun,
-the moon beneath her feet and
-on her head a crown of twelve stars.
-Being pregnant, she cried out in her
          birth pangs
-and the distress of the delivery.
-And another sign was seen in
              heaven.
              -A great red dragon, having
-seven heads each with a diadem,
                  and
                  -ten horns.
-His tail swept one third of the
                  stars to earth
                  -and he stood before her
                    -ready to devour her child.
                  -She bore a son
                    -destined to shepherd all
                      the nations
                    -with an iron staff
-who was caught up by God to
                    His throne.
    -She fled into the desert
-where God had prepared a place for her
-where they might nourish her 1260 days.
    -And war occurred in heaven.
      -Michael and his angels
-fought the defeated dragon and his
          angels
-so there was no longer a place found

            for them in heaven.
          -And the great dragon,
-the old serpent called the devil
              and Satan,
              -the one deceiving the whole
                earth,
                -was cast to the earth
                  -with his angels.
-And I heard a great (loud) voice in
          heaven saying,
          -"Now has come
            -the salvation,
            -power,
            -kingdom of God and
            -authority of His Christ.
-Because the accuser of our brothers,
-the one accusing them before our
              God
              -day and night,
                -is cast (down).
          -And they overcame (defeated) him
-by the blood of the lamb
-and by the word of their witness,
                -for they didn't love their
                  lives so much
                  -that they shrank from death
                    (for Christ).
          -Therefore be glad heavens
            -and you who dwell there.
-Woe to the earth and sea
-because the devil came down to
                  you
                  -with great anger,
                  -knowing his time's short."
-When the dragon saw he was cast to
            earth,
-he pursued the woman who'd borne
              the son.
-She was given the two wings of

                the great eagle,
-so she could fly to her desert
                place
-and be nourished for three and
                  a half years
                  -out of the serpent's reach.
-The serpent spewed water like a river
-after the woman to sweep her away.
-But by opening its mouth, the
                earth helped the woman
                -by swallowing the river.
                  -Enraged at the woman, the
                    dragon went off
                    -to war against her
                      offspring,
                      -those who obey God's
                        commands
                      -and bear testimony to
                        Jesus.
-And he (the devil) stood on
                    the beach.
                                    (Chapter 12)

I saw a beast coming up out of the sea
-with seven heads, each having a blasphemous
    name on it and
-ten horns each having a diadem (crown) on
      it.
-The beast was like a leopard
        -with bear's feet and
          -a lion's mouth.
            -The dragon gave it his
              -power,
              -throne and
              -great authority.
-One of its heads seemed to have been slain to
    death
-but the death stroke was healed.
-The whole world wondered after the beast
        -and worshipped the dragon,
-because he gave authority to the
            beast.
            -and they worshipped the beast
              saying,
              -"Who's like it
-and who can war against it?"
                  -It was given:
                    -a mouth to speak great
                      things and blasphemies
                    -authority to act for 42
                      months.
-It opened its mouth in blasphemies
          against God,
          -His name,
          -His tabernacle (dwelling) and
          -those who dwell in heaven.
-It was allowed to war with and overcome
          the saints (believers in Christ)
          -and given authority over every
            -tribe,
            -people,
            -tongue and
            -nation (in short)
              -everyone on earth
                -whose names aren't written
                  -in the Book of Life
-of the lamb that was slain,
                    -from the world's foundation
                      (according to God's
                      eternal plan).
-If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
-If anyone's to be taken captive
            -to captivity he goes.
-If anyone kills with the sword
-he'll be killed by the sword.
-Here is the (this calls for)
            endurance and faith of saints
            (believers in Christ).

-I saw another beast coming up out of the
    earth having
    -two horns like a lamb,
      -speaking as a dragon and
-with the authority of the first beast
          in its presence.
-It makes the earth and its dwellers
            -worship the first beast,
-whose stroke of death was healed.
                -And it does great signs,
                  -even making fire come down
                    out of heaven
                    -onto earth before men.
          -It deceives those on earth,
            -because of the signs
-it was given to do before the
                (first) beast,
-telling them to make an image
                  -to (for) the beast (wounded)
                    by the sword's stroke
                  -and yet lived (again).
-And it was allowed to give spirit
            (breath) to
            -the image of the beast
              -so it could speak
                -and cause those not worshipping
                  it
                  -to be killed.
          -And it causes all men
            -small,
            -great,
            -rich,
            -poor,
            -free,
            -slaves,
              -to be marked on
                -the right hand
                -or forehead
-so no one can buy or sell
                    -without the mark,
                      signifying
                    -the beast's name or number.
          -This calls for wisdom.
            -The one having reason
              (understanding)
-let him count the beast's number,
                -it's a human number -
                  -666.
                                    (Chapter 13)

And I saw the lamb standing on Mt Zion
  -and with him 144,000
-having His name and the Father's name
      -written on their foreheads.
-And I heard a sound out of heaven
-as a sound of many waters
            -and of great (loud) thunder.
-The sound of harpists playing on
                their harps.
                -They sing a new song
                  -before the throne
                    -and the four living
                      creatures
                    -and the elders,
                -which no man can learn,
                  -except the 144,000
                    -who've been purchased
                      (redeemed) from the earth.
                  -These haven't defiled
                    themselves with women,
                    -they're celibate and follow
                      the lamb wherever He goes.
                    -They're purchased
                      (redeemed) from mankind as
                      first fruits to God and
                      the lamb.
-No lies are found in their

                      mouth.
                    -They're unblemished.
-And I saw another angel flying in mid
          heaven,
-having an eternal gospel to preach
-to those dwelling on earth, to
              every
              -nation,
              -tribe,
              -tongue and
              -people.
                -Saying in a great voice,
-"Fear God and give Him the
                    glory
                  -because the hour of His
                    judgment's come,
                    -worship the One who made
                    -heaven,
                    -earth,
                    -sea, and
                    -the fountains of waters."
-And a second angel followed saying,
          -"Babylon the great's fallen,
            -who made all nations
-drink the wine of the anger of
                her fornication."
-And a third angel followed, saying in a
          loud voice,
          -"If anyone worships the beast
            -and its image
-and receives a mark on his
                forehead
                -or hand,
-he'll drink the wine of God's
                    anger,
                    -poured unmixed into the cup
                      of His wrath.
                    -And he'll be tormented with
                      fire and sulphur
-in the presence of the holy
                      angels
                    -and the lamb.
                  -And the smoke of their
                    torment
                    -goes up forever and ever.
                    -They've no rest, day or
                      night these worshippers of
                      the beast and its image,
                      and whoever receives the
                      mark of its name.
-This calls for the endurance of the
            saints,
            -those keeping the commandments of
              God
            -and the faith of Jesus.
-I heard a voice out of heaven saying
          -"Write, blessed are the dead
-who die in the Lord from now on.
              -Yes, says the Spirit,
-that they may rest from their
                  labours,
                  -for their works follow with
                    them."
-And I saw a white cloud
-and on it sitting One like a Son of
            Man (Jesus Christ)
-with a golden crown on His head
-and a sharp sickle in His hand.
-And another angel went out of the
          temple,
          -crying in a loud voice
-to the One sitting on the cloud,
              -"Send your sickle and reap,
                -the hour's come to reap
                  -because earth's harvest is
                    ripe."
-So the One sitting on the cloud
              (Jesus Christ)

-swung His sickle over the earth
                -and the earth was harvested.
-Another angel came out of the temple in
          heaven,
-he too had a sharp sickle.
-Another angel, who had authority over
          the fire,
-went forth out of the altar,
-speaking with a loud voice to one
              -with the sharp sickle,
                -"Send the sharp sickle
                  -and gather the vine clusters
                    of earth
                  -because they're ripe."
-So the angel swung his sickle on earth,
    -gathered the vintage,
-threw it into the great wine press
        -of God's wrath
-and the wine press was trodden
            outside the city
            -and blood flowed from it
-as high as a horse's bridle,
                -for about 180 miles.
                                    (Chapter 14)

And I saw another sign in heaven, great and
marvellous,
  -seven angels,
    -with seven plagues,
      -which are the last,
-for with them God's wrath ended.
-And I saw a glassy sea
    -mixed with fire
      -and those overcoming (defeating) the
        beast and its image
-and the number of its name,
          -standing on the glassy sea
            -having God's harps.
-And they sing the song of Moses,

                God's servant
-and the song of the lamb
                  saying,
                  -"Great and wonderful are your
                    works,
                  -O Lord God Almighty.
                  -Righteous and true are your
                    ways,
                  -the king of the nations.
-Who won't fear you O Lord
                  -and glorify your name?
                  -Because you only are holy.
                  -Because all the nations will
                    come and worship before you.
                  -Because all your ordinances
                    were made manifest."
  -After this I saw that
    -the temple
      -of the tabernacle
        -of the testimony
          -in heaven was opened
            -and seven angels came forth
              -clothed in clean bright linen,
                -with breasts girdled with
                  golden girdles.
-And one of the four living creatures
        -gave to the seven angels
          -seven golden bowls
-filled with the anger of God
-who lives for ever and ever.
-And the temple was filled with
                  smoke
                  -from the glory of God
                  -and from His power.
-And no one could enter the
                    temple
                  -until the seven plagues
                  -of the seven angels

                  -were finished.
                                    (Chapter 15)

And I heard a loud voice out of the temple
  -saying to the seven angels
-"Go and pour out the seven bowls of God's
      anger onto the earth."
-The first poured out all his bowl on the
        earth,
-and a bad and evil sore came on
-the men having the beast's mark
            -(and on) those worshipping its
              image.
-The second poured out his bowl on the sea
-and it became blood as of a dead man
-and every thing living in the sea died.
-The third poured out his bowl on the rivers
      -and fountains of water
        -and they became blood.
-And I heard the angel of the waters
            saying
            -"You're righteous, the one who
              -is and
              -was,
              -the holy one,
                -because you judge these things.
-Because they shed the blood of
                -saints (believers),
                -and prophets,
                  -you've given them blood to
                    drink.
                  -It's what they're worthy of
                    (deserve)."
-And I heard the altar saying,
            -"Yes, Lord God Almighty
              -true and righteous are your
                judgments."
-The fourth poured his bowl on the sun
-and power was given it to burn men with

          fire
-and men were burnt with great heat.
            -And they blasphemed God's name
-the one with authority over these
                plagues.
-But they didn't repent and give
                  Him the glory.
-The fifth poured out his bowl on one
        beast's throne.
        -Its kingdom became darkened,
-men gnawed their tongues from the
            pain
-and blasphemed the God of heaven
-because of their pains and sores.
-But they didn't repent of their
                  works.
-The sixth poured his bowl into the
        Euphrates River
-and its water was dried up
-to prepare the way of the kings,
-from the rising of the sun.
-And I saw out of the mouth of the
            -dragon,
            -beast and
            -false prophet,
              -three unclean spirits coming as
                frogs.
                -They are spirits of demons
                  doing signs,
                  -going forth to all the
                    world's kings
                    -to assemble them
-to the war of the great day
                    -of the Almighty God.

-Because I'm coming as a thief
                  (God says)
                -blessed the one watching
                  (awake)
                  -keeping his garments
                  -lest he walk naked
                    -and men see his shame.

                  -They assembled them in the
                    place
                    -called in Hebrew
                      Armaggeddon.
-And the seventh poured out his bowl on
        the air
-and a loud voice came out of the temple
          -from the throne saying,
-"It has occurred" and there were
              -lightnings,
              -voices,
              -thunders,
              -an earthquake greater than had
                -ever occurred before in human
                  history,
-the great city was divided into
                three,
                -the nations' cities fell,
                -and God remembered Babylon the
                  great
-to give her the cup of the
-wine of the anger of His
                      wrath,
              -every island fled,
              -mountains weren't found,
              -and great hailstones weighing
                about 50 kilograms
                -fell from heaven onto men
                  -who blasphemed God because of
                    the exceedingly great plague
                    of hail.
                                    (Chapter 16)
And one of the seven angels came,
-having the seven bowls and spoke with me
    saying,
-"Come I'll show you the judgment of the
      great harlot
      -sitting on many waters,
        -with whom the earth's kings
          -practised fornication.
            -Those dwelling on earth became
              drunk
              -from the wine of her
                fornication."
-And he carried me into the desert in spirit
-and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet
        beast
-being filled with names of blasphemy.
          -Having seven heads
            -and ten horns.
-The woman was clothed in purple
                and scarlet,
              -gilded in gold and precious
                stones and pearls,
-with a golden cup in her hand
                -filled with abominations
-and the unclean things of her
                  fornication.
-And on her forehead a name
                written.
                -"Mystery, Babylon the great,
                  -the mother of harlots
                  -and the abominations of the
                    earth."
-And I saw her drunk from the
                blood of the saints
                -and from the witnesses of
                  Jesus.
                -And I wondered greatly.
-And the angel said to me,
        -"Why wonder?
-I'll tell you the mystery of the
            woman
-and the beast carrying her having
              -seven heads and ten horns.
                -The beast you saw
                  -was and is not
-and is about to come up out
                    of the abyss
                    -and go to destruction.
                  -and earth's dwellers will
                    wonder,
                    -those whose names aren't
                      written on the Book of
                      Life from the world's
                      foundation,
                    -when they see the beast
                      that was,
                      is not
                      and is present.
            -Here's the mind having wisdom.
              -The seven heads are seven
                mountains
              -where the woman sits.
              -And there are seven kings,
                -five fell,
                -one is,
-and one's yet to come but only
                  for a short while.
                  -The beast is the eighth,
                    -but it belongs to the
                      seventh
                    -and it goes to destruction.
-The ten horns are ten kings,
                -who've received no kingdom yet,
                -but receive authority as kings
for one hour with the beast.
                -They have one mind
                  -and give their power and
                    authority to the beast.
-They'll make war with the lamb
-and the lamb will overcome them,
              -because He's Lord of lords

                -and King of kings
                  -and those with Him are
                    called,chosen and faithful."
          -He says to me,
-"The waters you saw where the
              harlot sits
              -are peoples,
              -crowds,
              -nations and tongues.
-The ten horns and the beast will
              hate the harlot,
              -make her desolate and naked,
                -eat her flesh
                  -and consume her with fire.
-For God put into their hearts
              -to do His will
                -and with one mind,
                  -give their kingdom to the
                    beast,
                  -until God's words are
                    accomplished.
            -And the woman you saw
              -is the great city
                -which reigns over earth's
                  kings."
                                    (Chapter 17)

Then I saw another angel come down from heaven
  -having great authority
-and the earth was lit up with his glory.
-He cried mightily with a strong voice,
        -"Babylon the great's fallen.
-It's become a dwelling place of
            demons,
          -a prison of every unclean
            -spirit and
            -hated bird,
              -because all the nations
-have drunk the wine of the

                  anger of her fornication
-and the kings and merchants of
                the earth
                -practised fornication with her
-and from the power of her
                    luxury became rich."
-And I heard another voice out of heaven
      saying,
-"My people, come out of her,
-lest you share in her sins
          -and receive her plagues,
            -because her sins have reached
              heaven
              -and God remembered her misdeeds.
      -Give back to her
-as she gave back to you,
          -doubly according to her works.
-Mix a double draught for her in the
              cup she mixed.
-As she glorified herself and luxuriated,
-so give her torment and sorrow
-because she says in her heart
            -'I sit as a queen,
-I'm no widow, I'll never see
                mourning.'
-Therefore in one day her plagues will
          come -
          -death,
          -sorrow and
          -famine.
          -She'll be consumed by fire
-because strong is the Lord who
              judges her.
        -The kings of the earth
          -who committed fornication and
            luxuriated with her,
-will weep and wail when they see
              the smoke of her burning.
              -They'll stand far off,
-in fear of her torment saying,
                  -'Woe woe the great city,
                  -Babylon the strong city,
                  -because in one hour your
                    judgment's come,'
-And earth's merchants weep and sorrow
          over her
-because no one anymore buys their
            cargo of
            -gold,
            -silver,
            -valuable stone,
            -pearls,
            -fine linen,
              -purple, silk and scarlet,
            -scented wood,
            -ivory vessels,
            -vessels of valuable wood,
              -bronze,
              -iron,
              -marble,
            -cinnamon,
            -spice,
            -incenses,
            -ointment,
            -francincense,
            -wine,
            -oil,
            -fine meal and corn,
            -beasts of burden,
            -sheep,
            -horses,
              -carriages (chariots),
              -slaves, that is, human souls.
-The fruit your soul lusted for
              -has gone from you.
-All the sumptuous and bright things
-have perished from you never to
                be found again.
            -The merchants of these things,
-who were made rich by her,
                -will stand far off
                  -in fear of her torment,
                    weeping and sorrowing
                  -saying, 'Woe, woe the great
                    city
                  -that was clothed with fine
                    linen, purple and scarlet
                    -and girded with gold,
                      valuable stone and pearl,
                  -because in one hour
                    -such great wealth was made
                      desolate.'
                  -And every shipmaster and
                    seafarer
-and as many as trade by the
                      sea,
                    -stood afar off,
                    -and cried seeing the smoke
                      of her burning,
                    -saying, 'What city's like
                      the great city?'
                    -They cast dust on their
                      heads and cried out
                      -weeping and sorrowing,
                        saying,
                      -'Woe, woe great city
                      -where all having ships at
                        sea
                      -grew rich by her wealth,
                        because
-in one hour she was made
                        desolate.
          -Be glad over her heaven,
            -saints,
            -apostles and
            -prophets
              -because God's given judgment for

                you against her.'"
-And one strong angel lifted a great
        millstone
-and threw it into the sea
-saying, "So shall Babylon the great
            city,
-be thrown down with a rush
              (violently)
              -and be found no more.
            -And the sound of
              -harpists,
              -minstrels,
              -flute players,
              -and trumpeters
-will be heard in you no more.
-No kind of craftsman will be
                found in you any longer,
-nor shall the sound of a mill
be heard in you any longer.
-No lamp shall shine in you any
              longer.
-The voice of bridegroom and bride
-shall no longer be heard in you.
-Your merchants were the great men
              of the earth
-and the nations were deceived by
              your sorcery.
-The blood of prophets and saints were
            found in her
-and all who've been slain on
              earth."
                                    (Chapter 18)

Then I heard the loud voice of a great crowd in
heaven
  -saying, "Hallelujah, the salvation,
    -glory and
      -power of our God.
        -Because His judgments are
        -true and
        -righteous.
-Because He judged the great harlot,
-who defiled the earth with her
            fornication
-and avenged the blood of His servants
          (who suffered) at her hand."
    -And secondly they said,
-"Hallelujah, her smoke goes up for ever
          and ever."
  -The twenty four elders
    -and the four living creatures
      -fell and worshipped God
        -sitting on the throne
          -saying, "Amen Hallelujah."
-And a voice came out from the throne
    -saying, "Praise our Lord
      -all His servants
-who fear Him (hold Him in reverent awe)
          -both small and great."
-I heard the sound of a great crowd,
-like the sound of many waters
      -and of many loud thunders
-saying "Hallelujah because the Lord our
          God the Almighty reigns.
          -Let's rejoice,
            -exult
            -and give Him the glory,
-because the marriage of the lamb
                came
                -and His wife prepared herself
-and it was granted her to be
                    clothed
                  -with bright, clean, fine
                    linen.
                  -For the fine linen
                    -is the righteous deeds of
                      the saints."
-And he tells me "Write, blessed (are) those
-called to the marriage supper of the
        lamb."
-And he tells me, "These words of God are
      true."
-And I fell before his feet to worship him
-and he says "Don't do it,
          -I'm your fellow servant
            -and of your brothers
              -having the witness of Jesus.
                -Worship God
-for the witness of Jesus is
                    the spirit of prophecy."
    -And I saw heaven opened
      -and behold, a white horse
-its rider being called Faithful and
          True
-and for righteousness he judges and
            makes war.
-His eyes are as a flame of fire,
-on his head (are) many diadems
                (crowns),
-(he has) a name written which
                  only he knows,
-(he was) clothed with a garment
              dipped in blood
-and his name's "The Word of God."
        -And heaven's armies followed him,
          -on white horses,
            -clothed in white clean linen
-and out of his mouth proceeds a
                sharp sword
-for him to smite the nations.
                  -He'll shepherd them with a
                    staff of iron
                  -and he treads the winepress
-of the wine of the anger of
                    the wrath
                    -of God the Almighty.
          -On his robe
            -and on his thigh
              -the name is written,
-King of kings and Lord of
                  Lords.
-I saw an angel standing in the sun
-who cried out with a loud voice to all the
      birds flying in mid heaven,
-"Come, assemble to the great supper of
        God,
        -to eat the flesh of,
          -kings,
          -captains,
          -strong men,
          -horses,
          -and riders,
          -free men and
          -slaves,
          -small and
          -great."
  -And I saw the beast,
-the kings of the earth and their armies
      -assembled to make war
-with the one sitting on the horse with
          his army.
          -The beast was seized,
            -with the false prophet
-who did the signs before it,
                -deceiving those who'd received
                  the mark of the beast
                  -and worshipped its image.
-These two were thrown into the lake
            burning with sulphur.
-The rest were killed with the sword
-of the one sitting on the horse,
-the sword that comes from his
                  mouth.
-And all the birds were filled
                    with their flesh.
                                    (Chapter 19)
I saw an angel coming down out of heaven,
-having the key of the abyss
-and a great chain on his hand.
-He laid hold of the dragon,
        -the old serpent
-who is the devil and Satan,
            -bound him for 1000 years,
              -cast him into the abyss
-and shut and sealed it over him
-so that he should no longer
                    deceive the nations
                    -'til the 1000 years are
                      finished.
-Then he'll be loosed a little time.
  -I saw thrones
-and seated on them, those to whom judgment
      was given.
-And (I saw) the souls of those beheaded
        because of
        -the witness of Jesus
-and (because of) the word of God,
-who did not worship the beast,
              -nor its image,
                -nor receive its mark on
                  -their forehead and hand
                    -and they lived again
                    -and reigned with Christ
                      1000 years.
-The rest of the dead didn't live again
-until the 1000 years were finished.
      -This is the first resurrection.
-Blessed and holy are those having part
          in the first resurrection.
          -Over them the second death
            -has no authority,
-but they'll be priests of God
                and of Christ.
-and will reign with Him 1000
                  years.
-And when the 1000 years are finished,
-Satan will be loosed out of his prison
-and go forth to deceive the nations
-in the four corners of the earth (that
          is) Gog and Magog.
          -To assemble them to war,
-in number as the sand of the sea,
-who went up over the breadth of
                the land
                -and encircled the saints'
                  (believers) camp
                  -and the beloved city
                    (Jerusalem is implied).
-And fire came down out of heaven and
      consumed them.
      -And the devil deceiving them
-was cast into the lake of fire and
          sulphur,
-where the beast and the false prophet
            were
-and they'll be tormented day and
              night
              -for ever and ever.
-And I saw a great white throne
    -and one sitting on it.
      -From his face
        -earth and heaven fled
-and no place was found for them.
  -I saw the dead,
    -great and small,
      -standing before the throne,
        -scrolls were opened
          -and another scroll was opened
-which is the scroll of life.
              -And the dead were judged
-by the things written in the
                  scrolls,
                  -according to their works.
-And the sea gave up the dead in it
-death and hell gave up the dead in them,
-and each was judged according to their
          works.
          -And death and Hades
-were cast into the lake of fire.
              -This is the second death.
                -Anyone not found written in
                  -the scroll of life
-was cast into the lake of
                      fire.
                                    (Chapter 20)

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth.
-For the first heaven and earth passed away
-and the sea was no longer.
-And the holy city, the new Jerusalem,
-I saw coming down out of heaven from
          God,
          -prepared as a bride adorned
            -for her husband.
-And I heard a loud voice (from)
                out of the throne
                -saying, "Behold God's
                  tabernacle is with men
                  -and He'll tabernacle (dwell)
                    with them,
                    -they'll be His people
                    -and God Himself will be
                      with them.
-And He'll wipe every tear from
                  their eyes,
                  -death will be no longer,
                  -nor sorrow,
                  -clamour or
                  -pain,
                    -because the first things
                      have passed away."
-The one sitting on the throne said,
    -"Behold I make everything new."
-And he said "Write, because these words
        are faithful and true."
-He said to me "It's occurred (it's
          done).
-I am the Alpha and Omega,
            -the beginning and the end,
              -to the thirsty
-I'll give of the fountain of
                  life freely.
                  -The one overcoming
                    (conquering),
                  -shall inherit these things
                  -and I'll be his God
                  -and he'll be my son.
                -But to the cowardly,
                  -unbelieving,
                  -polluted (corrupt),
                  -murderers,
                  -fornicators(sexually immoral)
                  -sorcerers,
                  -idolaters,
                  -and all the false ones
                    (liars),
                    -their lot (place) shall be
                      in
                    -the lake burning with fire
                      and sulphur,
                    -which is the second death."
-And one of the seven angels came
    -having seven bowls
-filled with the last seven plagues,
-and said to me, "Come I'll show you the
          bride
          -the wife of the lamb."
-And he bore me away in spirit
              -onto a great high mountain
-and showed me the holy city
                  (Jerusalem),
                  -coming down out of heaven
                    from God
                    -having the glory of God.
-Its light was like a very
                      valuable stone (jewel)
                    -like a jasper, clear as
                      crystal.
                  -Having a great high wall
                    -with twelve gates
                    -and at the gates twelve
                      angels
                    -and on the gates (were)
                      inscribed
                    -the names of the twelve
                      tribes of Israel's sons.
                    -On the east, three gates,
                    -on the north, three gates,
                    -on the south, three gates
                      and
                    -on the west, three gates.
                  -And the city's walls have
                    twelve foundations
-and on them the names of
                      the twelve apostles of the
                      lamb.
-And the one speaking with me had a
    -golden measuring rod
      -to measure the city,
        -its gates and
        -wall.
-The city lies foursquare, (a cube)
-its length equal to its breadth.
-He measured the city at 1400
                miles (long),
                -its length, breadth and height
                  being equal.
              -He also measured its wall's
                thickness at about 65 metres
-by a man's measure, which the

                  angel was using.
-The coping of the wall was jasper.
-The city was pure gold, clear as glass.
-The foundations of the wall were
          adorned with every precious stone.
          -The first, jasper, then
          -sapphire,
          -chalcedony,
          -emerald,
          -sardonyx,
          -sardius,
          -chrysolite,
          -beryl,
          -topaz,
          -chrysoprase,
          -hyacinth
          -and the twelfth, amethyst.
        -And the twelve gates
          -were twelve pearls
-each gate made of one pearl.
-And the street of the city was clear
          gold,
          -transparent as glass.
-I saw no temple in the city
        -for the Lord God Almighty
          -and the Lamb
            -are its temple.
-The city doesn't need sun or moon
        -to shine on it,
          -for the Lord's glory
            -is its light
-and its lamp is the Lamb.
-The nations shall walk through (by) its
        light
-and the kings of the earth
          -bring their glory to it.
-And its gates will never be shut
        -by day
-for there'll be no night there.
            -They'll bring into it
-the glory and honour of the
                nations.
      -Nothing unclean shall enter it,
        -nor anyone who practises
          -abomination or
          -falsehood,
            -but only those (may enter)
              -who are written in the
                -lamb's scroll (book) of life.
                                    (Chapter 21)

He showed me the river of the water of life,
  -bright as crystal,
-flowing out of the throne of God and the
      lamb.
-In the midst of the street of the city
-and on either side of the river
          (was) a tree of life,
          -producing twelve fruits,
            -one each month,
              -and its leaves (were)
-for the healing of the nations.
-There'll be no curse any longer
-and the throne of God and the lamb
-will be in it (the city).
        -His servants will serve Him,
          -they'll see His face
-and His name will be on their
              foreheads.
-And night will be no longer,
-they'll need no light of lamp
                  or sun
                  -because the Lord God
                    -will shed light on them
                    -and they'll reign for ever
                      and ever.
-He said to me "These words are faithful and
    true
-And the Lord the God of the spirits of the
      prophets
      -sent His angel
        -to show His servants
          -what must soon happen."
          -"And behold I'm coming quickly,
-blessed is he who keeps the words
of the prophecy of this scroll."
-I, John, am the one hearing and seeing these
    things,
    -when I heard and saw,
-I fell to worship before the feet
-of the angel showing me these things.
-He told me "Don't do it, I'm a fellow
            servant of yours,
            -of the brothers the prophets
-and those keeping the words of
                this scroll.
                -Worship God."
-And he said "Don't seal up the words of the
    prophecy of this scroll
    -for the time's near.
      -Let the one acting unjustly,
        -act unjustly still
          -and the filthy one,
            -let him act filthily still
              -and the righteous one,
                -let him do righteousness still
                  -and the holy one,
                  -let him be holy still.
    -Behold I'm coming quickly
-and my reward is with me,
        -to render to each man
          -according to his work.
            -I'm the Alpha and Omega,
              -the first and the last,
                -the beginning and the end.
-Blessed are those washing their robes,
        -so they'll have authority
          -over the tree of life
-and (be able to) enter by the gates
              -into the city.
                -Outside are dogs,
                  -sorcerers,
                  -fornicators,
                  -murderers,
                  -idolaters,
                  -and everyone loving
                    -and practising lying.
  -I, Jesus sent my angel
    -to witness to you
-these things over (in) the churches.
-I am the root and offspring of David,
          -the bright Morning Star."
-And the Spirit and bride say
              -"Come!"
-And the one hearing let him say
              -"Come!"
            -And the one thirsting,
              -let him come.
            -The one wishing (desiring)
-let him take the water of life
                freely.
-I witness to everyone hearing the words of
    the prophecy of this scroll.
    -If anyone adds to them
-God will add upon him the plages written
        in this scroll.
        -And if anyone takes away
-from the words of the scroll of this
            prophecy,
-God will take away his part
              -from the tree of life
-and out of the holy city and
                -(from) the things written in
                  this scroll.
-The one witnessing these things says,
    -"Yes, I'm coming quickly."

      -Amen, come Lord Jesus.
-The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you
          all.
                                    (Chapter 22)

THE MAIN POINTS OF REVELATION.

 1. -AN ASSEMBLY of Christians is called a
church. (Church DOES NOT mean a building
      or an organisation).
-A Christian is a person who has repented of
sin and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ,
-but even the most sincere Christians
        still fall into sin.
    -Therefore assemblies of Christians are
      imperfect.
-They cease to focus exclusively on Jesus
        Christ
        -and become ineffective.
          -They therefore need continual
            re-formation
          -or re-focussing on Jesus Christ
            alone.
-That's why Jesus Christ, who walks among
His churches wrote the Book of Revelation
which also places your life and the life
of your assembly (church) in the context
of the end of earthly human history.

 2. Grace and peace comes to you from
    -God the Father,
-the seven spirits before His throne and
    -Jesus Christ.

 3. Jesus Christ, God Almighty, freed you from
     your sins
     FOR A PUROSE:
      -to make you a priest

-to serve His God and Father.

 4. He is returning to earth
-then people will get what they've chosen
       -eternity with Him (heaven), or
       -eternity without Him (hell).
                                    (Chapter 1)

 5. Each assembly has an angel or messenger,
-each angel is held in Christ's right hand.

 6. Each assembly must "return to its first
love." This means putting knowing and
obeying Jesus Christ, absolutely first. Any
assembly that doesn't do this has "lost
the plot." Therefore, unless it re-forms,
     Christ will remove it.

 7. Jesus Christ walks in the midst of His
     churches, searching minds and hearts.

 8. Hearing and obeying Jesus makes you an
     "overcomer" that:
-has a place in God's Paradise.
-has no need to fear the second death
        (judgment followed by hell).
-is given "hidden manna" by Jesus.
-has a new name only Christ and you know.
-will "shepherd the nations with an iron
        staff."
-will be clothed in white garments.
-Christ will confess before His Father and
        His angels.
-Christ makes a pillar in His God's temple
        where He'll remain.
-has written on you - God's Name.

-the name of God's city, the new
          Jerusalem.
        -Christ's new name.
-Christ will grant to sit with Him on His
        throne.

 9. Assemblies who put knowing and obeying
Christ first will suffer affliction and
     possibly poverty, but they'll be
     spiritually rich.

10. Assemblies who don't put Jesus Christ
absolutely first (lost their first love)
     will fall into sins of

-turning a blind eye to immorality.
      -tolerance of false teachers.
-impressing others with an outward show of
        being alive, whilst being spiritually
        dead.
      -lukewarmness towards Christ.
      -deceiving themselves, saying they're
prosperous and rich when, in Christ's
        eyes, they're spiritually bankrupt.

11. Jesus Christ, God Almighty, who made the
universe and keeps it running, stands
humbly knocking at the door of "Christian"
assemblies asking entry to reform and "dine
with" them. He counsels them to buy from
     Him:
      -gold refined by fire.
      -white garments.
-eye salve to give clear vision.
The same also applies to you as an
     individual.
                                (Chapters 2 & 3)

12. It's fitting that, in this last book of the

Bible, heaven is unveiled and you're
allowed to see enthroned your heavenly
Father and your Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. It's an awesome picture of might,
     majesty, holiness, power, absolute
     knowledge and continual praise.

13. Who Jesus Christ is, what He's done and how
all heaven and earth honours Him is
     graphically portrayed.
                                (Chapters 4 & 5)

14. It's revealed that:
-at the appointed time Jesus Christ allows
judgment through men slaying each other,
       famine, disasters affecting the earth's
       physical structure, through earthquakes,
       (possibly) meteor strikes etc.

     -Christ's followers, slain for their
faithfulness to Him, are safe in heaven.

-non believers can't face God on His throne
and Jesus Christ. They hide in fear.
                                    (Chapter 6)

15. It's revealed that the status of Christ's
followers is sealed while they're on earth.
The outcome of great temporary affliction
on earth, is their permanent place before
God's throne serving Him continually. He,
with "the lamb in the midst of the throne"
     gives total protection and provision.
                                    (Chapter 7)

16. It's revealed that judgment on men comes by
means of a list of disasters to the earth's
     physical structure.
                                    (Chapter 8)
17. It's revealed that agony awaits those not
having God's seal on them and death for
many at the hands of a vast hostile army.
Yet those spared won't turn to God. Worship
of created things instead of their creator,
with all its associated evil, prevails.
                                    (chapter 9)

18. It's revealed that:
-For a period of time Gentiles will trample
over God's city Jerusalem. This may refer
to period from 70 A.D. when the temple
was destroyed by Rome, until 1948 when
       Jerusalem was recaptured.
-God sends and protects two witnesses who
have power to prophesy over rainfall,
       water and plagues. Their witness
complete, a beast out of the abyss will
war with and kill them. Earth's people
will rejoice because the prophets had
tormented them. For three and a half days
their corpses will lie in Jerusalem. Then
God's Spirit of Life will enter them and
they will be taken up to heaven in their
       enemies' sight. An earthquake,
destruction of one tenth of Jerusalem and
the death of 7000 men follows, so
remaining men, terrified, give glory to
       the God of heaven.
-Judgment results in the world's kingdoms
becoming "the kingdom of our Lord and His
Christ." It's a time of reward for God's
       people and destruction of "those
       destroying the earth."
                              (Chapters 10 & 11)

19. In my opinion we see in this chapter,
the result of the birth, deadh and
resurrection of Christ. Its result is Satan

and his cohorts being cast out of heaven
and pursuing Christ's followers on earth. A
situation which continues, again in my
     opinion, to this day.
                                    (Chapter 12)

20. It's revealed that, confined to earth,
Satan delegates power to two assistants
(beasts) who exercise authority over all,
except those with the mark of Jesus Christ
on them. Ultimately he will demand total
economic control by isolating any who won't
submit to his mark on forehead or right
     hand, of the number 666.

The time of his authority is limited, but
     'til then, everyone (except Christ's
     people), enthusiastically follow him.
                                    (Chapter 13)

21. It's revealed that in Mt Zion (heaven) a
new song is sung for Christ and those He's
     purchased (redeemed). From heaven the
gospel rings out calling men on earth to
faith in Christ. Because His judgment's
come, Babylon's fallen and hell awaits
     those worshipping Satan's beast.
                              (Chapters 14 & 15)

22 God's judgment falls on the earth in the
form of sores for those with Satan's mark,
death to seas and streams, burning heat
from the sun, darkness for the beast's
kingdom, a great earthquake, mountains and
islands fleeing, and cities falling. Men
blaspheme, rather than turn to God. Satan
     assembles his forces at Armageddon.
                                    (Chapter 16)
23. Heaven's angel portrays godless man at his
evil worst as the gorgeously clothed great
harlot - Babylon the great. The lives of
     Christ's followers, like Christ Himself,
are her "victims." But her defeat in
warring against Christ and His followers is
inevitable because He is "Lord of lords and
     King of kings."
                                    (Chapter 17)

24. Babylon's swift destruction and its
     economic results are graphically pictured.
There are echoes of God calling His people
out of her as He did from Sodom and
     Gomorrah (Gen.19:12,13).
                                    (Chapter 18)

25. Praise resounds in heaven that God's justice
has been done for every tear shed by God's
innocents at the hands of evil men.
     Heaven's celebratory "marriage supper of
the Lamb" is a blessing for those called to
     it (Christ's followers). Christ, followed
by heaven's armies, attack, seize Satan's
beast and false prophet, throw them into
the fiery lake and kill the kings of the
     earth and their armies.
                                    (Chapter 19)

26 Jesus describes:
-Satan being chained and sealed in an abyss
       for 1000 years.
-the souls of those beheaded for Christ
(who refused to worship or bear the mark
       of the beast).
-living and reigning as priests with God
         and Christ for 1000 years.
-This is called the first resurrection.
-The loosing of Satan after 1000 years:
-to deceive the nations again and
-assemble them to war against Christ.
-to encircle Christ's followers "in the
         beloved city."
-to see his army consumed by fire from
         heaven.
     -Satan's final destruction and eternal
torment in the lake of fire.

27. Jesus describes:
-God on His great white judgment throne,
-all the dead being judged FOR THEIR
         WORKS.
         -Christ's followers (overcomers) being
saved (their names being written in
           the Book of Life),
-the others being cast into the lake of
           fire.
This is called the second death -
           (hell).
                                    (Chapter 20)

28. Jesus declares a new era in which:
-there's a new heaven and new earth.
-the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descends
       from heaven to earth.
-So God and His people dwell together
-and He wipes away our tears.
       -It's almost indescribably beautiful:
         -Having God's glory.
-With light like a valuable jasper
           jewel.
         -Its foundations being Christ's twelve
           apostles.
-Being pure gold, clear as glass.
         -Having foundations of precious jewels.
-Having one pearl for each gate which
           will always be open.
-Needing no temple for the Lord God
Almighty and His lamb are its temple.
-not needing sun or moon, for it's lit
by the glory of the Lord and the
           Lamb.
-The nations will walk by its light and
bring it their glory and honour.
-Only Christ's followers will live there.
-A river of life flows from the throne of
         God and the lamb,
-in the midst of the city street
-with the fruit bearing tree of life
           beside it.
-Christ's servants will see His face,
         serve Him
         -and reign eternally with Him.
-There'll be no more death, sorrow,
       clamour, pain, curse,
     -everything will be new.

29. Jesus Christ says He's coming quickly to
reward you according to the work you've
     done as His follower.

Live your life on the assumption you'll
meet Him to-day. One day you will.
                              (Chapters 21 & 22)

30. In my opinion human history is now between
chapters 12 and 13 of Revelation if the
mark of the beast is taken literally, and
     12 and 14 if it's taken figuratively.

31. However, in my opinion, the key points, in
     summary are:

-The absolute necessity for assemblies of
Christ's followers to be centred on
knowing and obeying Him - PLUS NOTHING.
-The certainty of our heavenly destination
and the joy it will be to be there seeing
       Christ face to face.
     -The assurance that judgment ensures
       that perfect justice will prevail.
-That history is His story. It moves
according to God's timing - not according
to the plans of the Hitlers of this
       world.
-It reminds us, as Jesus said, that in this
       world His followers experience
tribulation (John 16:33). This enables us
to be prepared for, and therefore not
surprised by, the reality of Satan's
       attacks.
-The "genius" of the Bible's structure. It
       starts with Genesis recording God's
       perfect creation, describes the
disharmony caused by the fall, records
the history of conflict resulting from
it, God's solution on a Roman government
execution device (the Cross) and the
final restoration of all things in the
       Book of Revelation.

May God's word in His Bible be a lamp to your
feet and a light to the path that brings you
into your eternal heavenly home.
